It is Songbird Sings mission to transform those silenced by domestic violence enabling them to give voice to their experiences and emotions through songwriting and creative collaboration in a safe, enjoyable, and structured environment. To help participants to learn inner strength and resilience as they come to trust themselves, and others, while building support systems between those with a shared history of trauma.

Charity benefit at Regent Theater Arlington December 18 2010
This was another amazing evening with so many bands. We sang holiday songs and raised money for 2 different charities. I met many people this night involved with organizations helping to transform the lives of children and families. The highlight of the event was meeting Marnie Hall who having heard my song just once, launched in with the most exquisite violin. She illuminated the evening.
January 15 was the benefit at The Paradise for Hot Stove Cool Music http://hotstovecoolmusic.org/ What an amazing night and experience for me to play with Peter Gammons and Seth Justman from J.Giles and Buffalo Tom's Bill Janovitz. The money they bring in will go to Foundation To Be Named Later, a chairty of The Redsox's. http://www.foundationtobenamedlater.org/events.html. Various Redsox themselves got up to play. This was a mega event for many non profits serving children and families in need in the Boston area.
I hope to be able to help out with this each year from now on.
